T.S.V. Aegis
T.S.V. Aegis is a sci-fi auto-battler where you command the Tactical Support Vehicle Aegis through a gauntlet of encounters, making tough calls with limited energy. Each encounter, choose how to allocate your ship’s power into it's core defence systems, and let the combat play out automatically based on your setup.
Balance offence, defence, and evasive manoeuvres as you navigate a fixed star map of battles, power stations, and repair depots. Conserve your energy, pick your battles and prepare for the final showdown.
One life. One ship. One shot at survival.
Made in 48 hours for Kenney Jam 2025.
How to play:
This game is controlled only through your mouse.
In the navigation phase, select nodes within your range on the navigation map and hit the big red button to start an event.
When an enemy intercepts you, use your control sliders on the bottom left of the screen to set your laser, shield and thruster power. When ready, the red button will begin combat.
- Lasers add 1 damage to your attack. 1 power is removed per attack.
- Shields block 1 damage. 1 power is used per damage blocked.
- Thrusters add a 50% dodge chance. 1 power is used each turn , even if you don't dodge.
Any unused power is returned to the pool at the end of combat.

Developer Notes:
I had limited time over this game jam, but wanted to finish as have abandoned a few projects recently. I think the power diversion system concept could be fleshed out into something interesting given more time.

Having some indicator of laser base damage would have been helpful. But just as a base idea for a game it was kind of interesting. As is the norm with jam games though, the balance was off. Won, taking 0 damage, on the first try. Which isn't ideal for a tactics game.
